THE TRANSFER.

Private airport transfer or taxi?

Both can move you from airport to hotel. The difference is often what happens before you get into the car.

A taxi is usually the flexible default: arrive, join the official taxi system and travel. A private transfer is normally arranged in advance around a specific flight, pickup instruction and destination.

That makes private transfer most useful when uncertainty itself is the problem — unfamiliar airport, late arrival, luggage, a group, a child seat request, a long onward drive or simply no appetite for solving transport after landing.

If none of those frictions matter, a taxi may be the cleaner answer. LESS is interested in paying to remove a problem, not paying merely to make the same journey sound more luxurious.

What does it remove?Arrival decisions. Finding a car after landing. Some coordination at the curb.

What’s the catch?

A booked transfer can still be affected by flight delays, meeting-point confusion, waiting-time rules and cancellation terms. Compare the full terms, not just the headline fare.

Practical note: use only licensed or officially authorised transport at the destination airport; verify pickup instructions with the provider before travel.

Editorial only. LESS does not take bookings, quote prices, negotiate, collect payment or act for the provider.
